Brush types are how you add detail to your map and access the different tile shapes that are available. They are selected using the number keys at the top of the keyboard. Press the number key repeatedly to cycle through the different options for each grouping. The following commands changed slightly in v0.8.9 and may be inaccurate for versions before that.
- Group [1]
- Cube - creates 1x1x1 cube. Left click to place cube, right click to copy cube
- Copy Block
- Copy & Paste - Left-click paste, Right-click copy
- Group [2]
- Ramp
- Outside Corner
- Inside Corner
- Group [3]
- Bevel - Creates triangular block, like a ramp, which can have any orientation
- Bevel Round creates 1/4 of a cylinder in a 1x1x1 area
- Column - Creates a perfect cylinder
- Sphere- Creates a 1x1x1 Sphere
- Arch - Creates the inverse of a Bevel Round
- Arrow Loop - Creates a thin wall with an hole for shooting
- Trunk - Creates a tree trunk
- Pyramid Tool - Creates a 1x1x1 pyramid
- Bevel Wall - Creates an extremely thin diangle wall
- Group [4]
- Terrain Block - Left-click to set the texture of the terrain, Right-click to eye drop the texture
- Terrain Raise - Left-click to raise terrain, Right-click to lower terrain
- Terrain Height - Left-click to directly paint the height of the terrain. Right-click to eye drop, Shift+Mouse Wheel to manually set paint height.
- Terrain Enable - Left-click enable terrain tile, Right-click disable terrain tile
- Terrain Smooth - Smooths out terrain as it is slowly raised or lowered
- Group [5]
- Fill12 - Creates thin wall, 1/8 x 1 x 1 (best for under arrow Loops)
- Fill25 - Creates wall, 1/4 x 1 x 1
- Fill38 - creates thick wall, 3/8 x 1 x 1
- Fill50 - creates thick wall, 1/2 x 1 x 1
- Fill62 - creates thick wall, 5/8 x 1 x 1
- Fill75 - creates thick wall, 3/4 x 1 x 1
- Fill87 - creates thick wall, 7/8 x 1 x 1
- Group [6]
- Sub Block 2 - Creates 1/2 x 1/2 x 1/2 cube
- Sub Block 4 - Creates 1/4 x 1/4 x 1/4 cube
- Sub Block 8 - Creates 1/8 x 1/8 x 1/8 cube
- Group [7]
- Group [8]
